Paint and Copter continue their recent burst of creativity and productivity after a 10-year hiatus with their second full length release of 2022, following up the March 2022 release of Abandoned Cities. Future Tense builds on the duo’s workflow of editing improvisation sessions into to song-like structures by incorporating electronic, dance and industrial sounds and techniques. The resulting nine songs mix drums, bass, guitars, drum machines, sequencers, keys and occasional dreamy vocals across dramatic terrains.
